Founded to address the rapid expansion of industrial battery cage confinement in Central Africa, RISE is the Democratic Republic of the Congo's first dedicated farmed animal reform organization. Based in Kinshasa, we work at the intersection of animal welfare, corporate supply-chain sustainability, and environmental protection.

To reform animal agriculture in Africa by eliminating intensive battery cages, promoting humane cage-free housing standards, and driving corporate and institutional commitments that protect animal welfare, community livelihoods, and ecological health.
